Do you know our Father's purpose? Do you know your purpose?

Do you know our Father’s purpose?
Do you know your purpose?

We watched the movie “Hugo” over the weekend…I love this quote about purpose.

Isabelle: I wonder what my purpose is…

Hugo: Everything has a purpose, clocks tell you the time, trains takes you to places. I’d imagine the whole world was one big machine. Machines never come with any extra parts, you know. They always come with the exact amount they need. So I figured if the entire world was one big machine… I couldn’t be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason. And that means you have to be here for some reason, too.

Our Father has a purpose for each one of us. Sin has broken us, but Jesus came to reverse what sin did and bring us back to our original purpose and design.

No one is a mistake! We all have a purpose in God’s plan.

No “brokenness” (from sin, sickness, poverty or even death) is from God or is His will. He designed creation to be good – very good!  When man turned away from God’s original intention and followed his own twisted purpose, man applied himself to something for which he was not designed. Man broke, but God entered our brokenness and took our brokenness away.

When we understand His purpose, we will also understand our purpose!

When we walk in His way, the way of original design, we find purpose and true fulfillment.

Do you know your purpose?
